Dr. Eleanor Lyon, Emeritus Associate Professor in Residence, is the recipient of the Distinguished Career Award for the Practice of Sociology from the American Sociological Association (ASA). The ASA awards are given annually to sociologists for outstanding publications and achievements in the scholarship, teaching, and practice of sociology.
