Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs

Joanne Corbin, PhD, is professor and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs for the School of Social Work.  She is a qualitative researcher.  Her current areas of research include effect of armed conflict and displacement on social, cultural and economic networks and community based interventions in post conflict settings.  Her research has focused on northern Uganda. A second area of scholarship is systemic social work practice in public school settings.  She will teach qualitative and quantitative research methods courses in the master’s program.
