Requirement for BHSP statement: Please watch the video, What is Integrated Care? - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-029Yf7AYM, from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing prior to completing your statement. After watching the video, upload a statement, (double spaced, 3 pages maximum), outlining your interest in behavioral health by responding to the following prompts: 1. In your own words, briefly describe the integrated care approach in 2-4 sentences. 2. Based off your understanding of integrated care and the points raised in the video, what knowledge and skills do you currently have which would enable you to work effectively in an integrated care setting? 3. What additional knowledge and skills do you think you need to gain/develop while completing the MSW program that would better prepare you to work in an integrated care setting? 4. After watching the integrated care video: 4a. Provide a brief assessment of how culturally responsive the professionals were to Wendy. 4b. How could the professionals have been more culturally responsive to Wendy? 5. After earning your MSW, what type of professional setting do you envision yourself working in, and which population do you hope to serve?
