MSW Transfer Credit Review Request

Prospective, incoming, or current MSW students who would like to request transfer credits should complete the form below. Please note the following requirements prior to completing the form, to ensure the credits meet the criteria. All requests will be reviewed by the MSW Program Director. A follow up message will be sent after review that will indicate what courses, if any, are eligible for transfer credit and additional advising will be provided at that time.

A limited number of credits (up to 25 percent of the total credits required for the MSW) of letter-graded graduate level academic work completed at other accredited institutions may be accepted in transfer and included on a plan of study provided the following conditions are met:

The work was completed at graduate level
A grade of “B-” or higher was earned
The work was completed within six (6) years of the prospective graduation date from the MSW program
The credits haven't been or will not be used towards another degree
