Amy Otzel, MA, MS, LPC


Amy B. Otzel, MA, MS, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Retired U.S. Army Behavioral Health Sergeant, Iraq War combat theater Veteran, former U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Readjustment Counseling Therapist, and past State of Connecticut Military Support Program Clinician. While informed by graduate degree achievements in psychology, professional counseling, and integrative health & healing, Amy’s personal journey to inspire her own health, wellness, and the healing from trauma has enhanced her endeavor to contribute forward in healing service to others. Committed to holistically-minded integrative mental health practice, Amy is currently continuing the mission in service to Military Members, Veterans, and their Families in private practice at Inner Resource Psychotherapy (Colchester, CT).  Additionally, Amy is an advocacy member of the VA Mental Health Community Advisory Board and also routinely contributes in educational service as a Yale University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry Lecturer, a Veteran Peer Support Specialist trainer with Advocacy Unlimited’s Recovery University, a certified Holistic Stress Management Instructor, and an Advanced Level-2 Breath~Body~Mind™ teacher for survivors of trauma.
