April Minjarez, PhD

April Minjarez, Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in San Diego, Calif. She is an EMDR Senior Trainer with the EMDR Institute and an EMDR Institute Military Trainer. She has extensive experience with active-duty military and military sexual trauma (MST). She is well experienced in using EMDR across the life span and across multicultural and social-economic populations. In additional she is LGBTQIA+ affirming and a BIPOC consultant. Dr. Minjarez has extensive experience using EMDR in community mental health and the military/law enforcement populations.
