Donald F deGraffenried, LCSW


Donald F. deGraffenried, LCSW, is a Senior EMDR Trainer and has a full-time practice in New Haven, Ct, specializing in the treatment of complex trauma and the survivors of violent crimes. He specializes in the treatment of complex PTSD with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and has worked extensively with homicide survivors in both an agency setting and private practice. He is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Facilitator and a face-to-face Trainer for Part I and Part II EMDR training.

In 2010 at the Annual EMDRIA conference in Minneapolis, deGraffenried presented the workshop “Working with Homicide Survivors in Community Mental Health: Effective Use of the EMDR Recent Event Protocol”. He has been a frequent presenter at the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) Annual Conferences including San Diego, Seattle, Dallas, Phoenix, and Atlanta. He has presented thought out the continental United States and in Hawaii, Bangkok, Thailand and Mumbai, India.
