Emily Carveth, LCSW
Emily Carveth, LCSW is a full-time therapist and Veterinary Social Worker at Beehive Counseling and Wellness, a group therapy practice based in Manchester, CT. Emily earned her Master of Social Work at Fairfield University (2022), and served as the staff Veterinary Social Worker for Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine (North Haven and Branford, CT) immediately following graduation. Since transitioning to clinical practice, Emily has specialized in working with veterinary/other healthcare professionals, families navigating the loss of their beloved animal companions, trauma treatment (Brainspotting, EMDR), neurodiversity, and the LGBTQIA+ community. A former Veterinary Technician and Client Services Representative in veterinary hospitals for over 20 years, Emily is passionate about supporting fellow veterinary professionals as they navigate personal and professional trauma. In her spare time, she loves dancing, yoga, reading, listening to music, and recently, gardening. She lives in Orange, CT with her partner Dan and the best little gremlin in the world, their cat Simon.
