Jo Nol, PhD, MS, LCSW
Jo Nol, PhD, MS, LCSW recently retired as a partner from the Women’s Center for Psychotherapy in West Hartford. She has worked in the areas of domestic violence, addictions, sexual trauma, and major mental illness and has taught in the schools of social work for Michigan State University, Smith College, the University of Saint Joseph and the University of Connecticut on a range of topics. She has been studying, practicing and teaching the theory of Control-mastery for over 25 years. She received her MSW from Michigan State University, her doctorate from Smith College, and a Masters in Science with an emphasis in Neuroscience from the University of Hartford.
