Joan Letendre, LCSW, PhD

Joan Letendre, LCSW, PhD, is a retired Associate Professor of the UConn School of Social Work. Dr. Letendre has a passion for the artful practice of group work. In her years of teaching and work in the community, Dr. L has recognized the difficulty that members and practitioners have in addressing issues of difference particularly those involving race and ethnicity. This seminar has evolved from the belief that given support and guidance these conversations can occur respectfully bridging the gap that separates group members.
