Myron E. Weiner was the founding Chair of the Masters of Social Work Administration Program which was established by the SSW in 1975. Beginning in 1961, prior to that, he was a Professor in the University of Connecticut’s Masters of Public Affairs program.

Myron is the author of several books, monographs and professional papers on Social Work Administration and Non-Profit Organizational Management.  His book Human Services Management: Analysis and Applications was for many years, one of the leading texts in the field.  He also served as a  recognized consultant in Connecticut,  nationally and overseas for public and nonprofit  human services organizations.
