Wendy Ulaszek, Ph.D.

Associate Research Professor


Wendy Ulaszek is an associate research professor for the University of Connecticut School of Social Work and a licensed psychologist. Her research interests include implementation of evidence-based practices, assessment of readiness to change facilitation of sustainable organizational change, behavioral health and addictions treatment, evaluation of mental health and addictions programs, and correctional populations.

At the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) Research Division, Dr. Ulaszek has focused primarily in furthering research on the implementation of evidence-based practices. Her special focus is on the process of facilitation, leadership development, and team building for work groups.

Dr. Ulaszek has extensive experience in the administration and interpretation of numerous psychological and personality inventories relevant to leadership development.

Dr. Ulaszek joined the UConn/DMHAS faculty in 2003. She received her Ph.D. and MA in clinical psychology from the University of Connecticut, and her BA in psychology from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
