William Gilbert, PhD, MSW, LCSW, AADC

William C. Gilbert, PhD, MSW, LCSW, AADC, has been a social worker for over 30 years and is an Associate Professor of Social Work at Elms College in Chicopee, MA. He is also a primary care behavioral health clinician for Hartford Healthcare. Bill received his BA and MSW from Boston College. He received his PhD in Social Work from University of Connecticut. Bill has presented at local, regional and national conferences including those at University of Connecticut, and panel discussions on the opioid crisis. He has worked at several social service agencies in Connecticut serving in both administrative and clinical positions including fifteen years in the addictions field.
