William Gilbert, Ph.D., MSW, LCSW, AADC


William C. Gilbert, Ph.D., MSW, LCSW, AADC, has been a social worker for over 30 years and is an associate professor of social work at Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts. He is also a primary care behavioral health clinician for Hartford Healthcare.

Dr. Gilbert has presented at local, regional and national conferences including those at UConn, and panel discussions on the opioid crisis. He has worked at several social service agencies in Connecticut serving in both administrative and clinical positions including fifteen years in the addictions field.

He received his BA and MSW from Boston College, and Ph.D. in social work from University of Connecticut.
