Propose a new Focused Area of Study (FAS)

Faculty interested in developing a new Focused Area of Study should review the information at https://socialwork.uconn.edu/focused-areas-of-study/. Faculty should submit proposals to EPC by September for implementation the following academic year (or later, depending on curricular and/or scheduling needs). Proposals will be reviewed by EPC, with consideration for faculty interest, workforce needs, and the curriculum as a whole. EPC will review proposals and provide feedback on viable proposals. Proposals that are approved by EPC would then go to the full faculty for approval.
