Master of Social Work students participating in Connecticut ¡Adelante! or our School Social Work Program beginning Fall 2025 can receive up to $5,000 in tuition assistance  – from CT Health Horizons at UConn School of Social Work. Eligibility is determined upon acceptance to one of the programs and the criteria below.

 

Connecticut ¡Adelante!

This new MSW program is designed to increase the number of bilingual social workers trained to meet the mental health needs of Latine children and youth and their families in Connecticut. Read more.

Master of Social Work at UConn SSW

Flexible by design—with options to attend part time or full time—our MSW program can be completed in two, three or four years (with a bachelor’s degree). Whichever schedule you choose, you’ll benefit from:

  • Expert and supportive faculty
  • Career-based curriculum with three concentrations: Individuals, Groups and Families Practice; Community Organizing; or Policy Practice
  • Real-world applications: You’ll complete two internships from our 250+ practicum education (formerly field education) sites
